An e-commerce company with large fulfillment centers processing thousands of orders daily. The company faced inefficiencies in order picking, packing, and storage allocation.  

Warehouse operations suffered from high order processing times, inefficient picking routes, and excess labor costs. The existing warehouse layout and picking strategy resulted in frequent congestion and misallocated inventory.

Using heuristic methods and optimization algorithms, we developed an optimized picking strategy and warehouse layout. We applied route optimization techniques to minimize travel time and implemented a dynamic slotting system to position high-demand items closer to dispatch zones.
